  • What causes this issue?

If you do an archive deletion, for example, for a session of the
archiving object FI_DOCUMNT (financial accounting documents), you need
to decide for every data object stored in it (for FI_DOCUMNT, this
would be an FI document with records for the tables BKPF, BSEG etc.) if
it is relevant for deletion or not.
When reading a data object from the archive, the system first uses the
information from a leading table (that contains an org. unit) to find
out to which org. unit the object belongs and if it is relevant for
deletion. For FI_DOCUMNT, for example, the leading table is called
    BKPF.
For at least one record to be deleted in the archiving object &V1&,
delimitation by &V3& at header table level is required.
Information about which table is used as the leading table for a given
archiving object is stored in the table CNV_10996_DTFLD.
The system found that there is an entry for the archiving object &V1&
and delimitation by &V3&, but no header structure was specified.

    System Response

Generation of the deletion program for the session &V2& of the
archiving object &V1& does not take place.

    How to fix this error?

Start the transaction CNV_10996_DTFLD and maintain the corresponding
header structure for the archiving object &V1& and the template target
    determination object &V3&.
If it is a customer-specific archiving object, ask the customer which
standard archiving object it is based on, and copy the entry of the
    standard archiving object.
If it is a standard archiving object, contact SAP.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
