Message text: Target number range is almost full! &1,subobj. &2,NoRg &3
The company code merge would result in a target number range that is
filled to a very high degree (&V1&, subobject=&V2&, number=&V3&).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The remaining amount of document numbers in the target number range is
likely to be used up very soon.
There are several possible solutions. With all of them, make sure that
there is no overlap with other existing number ranges for the same
number range object and subobject (and the same to-year).
The possible solutions are:
Extend the target number range by entering a higher to-number in table
CNV_NRIV_N.
Move the target number range by changing the from-number and the
to-number in table CNV_NRIV_N.

- Target number range is almost full! &1,subobj. &2,NoRg &3 ?The SAP error message CNV20201353 indicates that a target number range is almost full. This typically occurs during data migration or conversion processes when the system is trying to assign a new number to an object, but the available numbers in the specified range are nearing their limit.
Cause:
- Number Range Exhaustion: The number range defined for a specific object (like a document, order, or customer) is close to being fully utilized. This can happen if a large number of records have been created, and the defined range is not sufficient to accommodate new entries.
- Configuration Issues: The number range may not have been configured properly, or the upper limit may have been set too low for the expected volume of data.
- Data Migration: During data migration, if a large volume of records is being imported, it can quickly consume the available numbers in the range.
Solution:
Extend the Number Range:
- Go to the transaction code SNRO (Number Range Objects).
- Find the relevant number range object associated with the error message.
- Check the current number range intervals and extend the upper limit if necessary.
- Ensure that the new range does not overlap with existing ranges.
Create a New Number Range:
- If extending the existing range is not feasible, consider creating a new number range and assigning it to the relevant object.
- Update the configuration to use the new number range.
Check for Configuration Errors:
- Review the configuration settings for the number range to ensure they are set up correctly.
- Make sure that the number range is not locked or restricted in a way that prevents new numbers from being assigned.
Monitor Usage:
- Regularly monitor the usage of number ranges to prevent future issues. Set up alerts or reports to notify administrators when a number range is nearing its limit.
