  • What causes this issue?

You have saved data on SXS objects (folder, standard XStep, version)
from your source system as an XML file using the XML export function.
You now wish to import this file to the SXS repository of your target
system using the XML import function.
The XML file you imported into the target system contains no check sum
information. At the time of the XML export of the file, the XML check
sum was not generated first because the relevant option in Customizing
for the SXS repository of the source system was not active.

    System Response

The system behavior is determined by the setting for the check sum check
during the XML import in Customizing for the SXS repository.
If the check sum check function is inactive, the XML import takes place
without comparison of the check sums
Check sum check with information or warning message: The XML import is
carried out; a message is issued as per the message category defined in
    Customizing.
    Check sum check with error message: The XML import is not carried out;
    an error message is issued.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to perform a check sum check during the XML import, You must
have made the Customizing settings for the check sum check in the source
and destination systems and specified the message category (Information,
Warning, Error). To do so, choose <LS>Process Coordination -> Execution
Steps -> Standard XStep Repository -> Settings for the Standard XStep
Repository</> in Customizing for Production Planning in Process
    Industries.
After activating the check sum check, repeat the XML export of the SXS
object data from your source system. The XML file you exported now
contains the necessary information for the check sum comparison.

    Procedure for System Administrators
