CM_CBESCOM117
- Exposure scenario contains contributing scenario "Worker" and "Consumer" ?The SAP error message CM_CBESCOM117 indicates that there is a conflict in the exposure scenario configuration within the SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) module. Specifically, it points out that the exposure scenario contains both "Worker" and "Consumer" contributing scenarios, which is not allowed.
Cause:
The error arises when an exposure scenario is defined to include both worker and consumer exposure pathways. In SAP EHS, exposure scenarios are typically designed to assess risks for specific groups, and combining different exposure types (like worker and consumer) in a single scenario can lead to inconsistencies in risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you should take the following steps:
Review the Exposure Scenario: Check the exposure scenario that is causing the error. Identify where both "Worker" and "Consumer" contributing scenarios are included.
Separate the Scenarios: Create separate exposure scenarios for "Worker" and "Consumer" if they are intended to be assessed differently. Each scenario should focus on the specific exposure type relevant to the group being assessed.
Adjust the Configuration: If the exposure scenario is meant to assess only one type of exposure, remove the conflicting contributing scenario (either "Worker" or "Consumer") from the exposure scenario.
Validate Changes: After making the necessary adjustments, validate the exposure scenario to ensure that it no longer triggers the error message.
Documentation: Document the changes made for future reference and compliance purposes.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the CM_CBESCOM117 error and ensure that your exposure scenarios are correctly configured.
