  • What causes this issue?

When creating an InfoSource for classification or configuration data in
the BW system, the key fields of the basic InfoSource that are linked to
key fields of a OLTP basic DataSource are transferred into the
extraction structure. This only occurs if the key fields of this OLTP
basic DataSource have the same names as the key fields of the
    classification DataSource.
For example: a classification DataSource in the OLTP system 1CL_OMAT001
has the same key field as its corresponding basis DataSource (MATNR).
This basis DataSource is linked to a base InfoSource from the BW system
via the key field assignment, for example, MATNR <-> 0MATERIAL. In the
extraction structure of the classification InfoSource to be generated,
the key field 0MATERIAL is transferred. The prerequisite for this is
that the basis InfoSource or basis InfoObject that you entered exists in
the BW system and that it is linked with a basis DataSource from the
OLTP system. This basis DataSource has to correspond with the current
classification or configuration DataSource via key fields of the same
name. If these prerequisites are not fulfilled, the system generates a
proposal for the key fields of the extraction structure. The key fields
proposed by the system can be overwritten later, as needed.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

The basic InfoSource or basic InfoObject &V1& that you specified is
linked with a basic DataSource from the OLTP system that does not
correspond with the current DataSource &V2& from the source system. For
this reasons, the program cannot transfer key fields from the structure
of the basic InfoSource. Please check your entries and enter the correct
basic InfoSource, as needed. You can also ignore the message and
continue with the transaction. In this case, the system will generate
the proposals for the key fields that you can overwrite later as needed.
