What causes this issue?

You have entered a revenue element (&v1&) in the entry field for the
cost element. The generation of such an item depends on the planning
object. The item can only be generated without errors if the planning
object carries revenues.
Note also that this item should have a negative value in the quantity
field and a positive value in the price field.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
