    existing GTINs will be deleted, and replaced with the newly imported
    GTINs. Alternatively, an empty GTIN or the initialization character (for
    example, "~") may have been submitted. This leads to the complete
    deletion of all GTINs for article and unit of measure .

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
