Currently registration of Redirect Views to support extensibility is not
possible as the following issues are not yet clarified:
An already extended Persistence Include of a Business Context is used in
a DB table which in a later release refers to a Redirect View
An DB table with Redirect View includes in a later release an already
extended Persistence Include of a Business Context
In both cases the already existing extension fields are in the DB table
but not automatically in the Redirect View, which leads to DDIC
activation errors during Upgrade and to runtime errors when accessing
the table.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Please contact Extensibility team to check if your use case can be
supported.
