  • What causes this issue?

    Either you want to create object management records for standard BOMs
    for this change number, or you have chosen menu path <LS>Goto</> ->
    <LS>Object overview -> Standard BOMs</>.
    You can only do this if the following indicators are set for the object
    type concerned:
    <LS>Indicator: object type active for change number</>
    <LS>Indicator: a management record is required for each object</>
    As at least one of these indicators has not been set for standard BOMs,
    you cannot use this function for standard BOMs.

    How to fix this error?

    Set these indicators for the object type <ZH>Bill of material</> or
    object sub-type<ZH>Standard BOM</>.
    Note:
    To set the indicator individually for different types of BOM, choose
    menu path <ZH>Edit</> -> <ZH>Other</> -> <ZH>Object sub-types</>, then
    set the indicator for <ZH>BOMs</>.
    If you cannot change this change master, choose a change master which
    allows changes to standard BOMs.

    The SAP error message CC152 ("Function not supported for standard BOMs") typically occurs when you are trying to perform an operation that is not allowed for standard Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP. Standard BOMs are used in production planning and are defined in a way that restricts certain functionalities that are available for other types of BOMs, such as variant BOMs or assembly BOMs.

    Cause:

    The error can occur due to several reasons:

    1. Unsupported Operations: You may be trying to perform an operation that is not supported for standard BOMs, such as certain types of modifications or deletions.

    3. Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the system that restrict certain functionalities for standard BOMs.

    Solution:

    To resolve the CC152 error, consider the following steps:
