Message number: 092
Message text: Material &1: Conversion of unit of measure &2 to &3 is not possible - &4
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Although substance volume tracking could not determine quantities for
this material, the tracking was not interrupted.
Check the unit of measurement for material &V1&. Add alternative units
of measure or a net weight to the material so that conversion from &V2&
to &V3& is possible.
If necessary, check the documents (&V4&) that were created or changed
for the current selection period for substance-volume tracking for
material &V1&.
Then start correction report RREGCH_RESTART_VT for the incorrect

CBRC_REGCHECK092
- Material &1: Conversion of unit of measure &2 to &3 is not possible - &4 ?The SAP error message CBRC_REGCHECK092 indicates that there is an issue with the conversion of a unit of measure (UoM) for a specific material. This error typically arises in scenarios where the system is trying to convert a quantity from one unit of measure to another, but the conversion is not possible due to various reasons.
Cause:
- Missing Conversion Factors: The conversion factors between the two units of measure may not be defined in the system.
- Incorrect UoM Configuration: The units of measure may not be correctly configured in the material master or in the UoM settings.
- Incompatible Units: The units of measure may not be compatible for conversion (e.g., trying to convert between weight and volume without a proper conversion factor).
- Material Master Issues: The material master data may be incomplete or incorrect, leading to issues in UoM conversion.
- Unit of Measure Group Issues: The unit of measure group assigned to the material may not include the required units.
Solution:
- Check Conversion Factors: Go to the material master (transaction code MM03) and check the UoM settings. Ensure that the conversion factors between the units of measure are defined correctly.
- Review UoM Configuration: Verify the configuration of units of measure in the system. You can check this in the customizing settings (transaction code SPRO) under Logistics General > Material Master > Basic Settings > Define Units of Measure.
- Update Material Master: If the material master is missing information, update it with the correct UoM and conversion factors.
- Check Unit of Measure Groups: Ensure that the unit of measure group assigned to the material includes both the source and target units of measure.
- Consult Documentation: If the issue persists, refer to SAP documentation or consult with your SAP support team for further assistance.
