  • Message text: Remuneration share cannot be determined

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The remuneration share for the new remuneration line cannot be
determined. The following set of rules is applied in this case, but it
    cannot supply a unique result:
Search for the remuneration detail line that initiates the entitlement.
This can be accomplished by calculation (process step 10301) or by
participation in result value splitting (process step 10303). There is
only one detail line for each remuneration line for process step 10301
    or 10303.
The remuneration share of this detail line depends on the participant:
With direct participants, the remuneration share is the activity share.
With members of a partnership, the remuneration share is the member's
distribution ratio (the member's partnership share in the buinsess).
With indirect participants, the remuneration share is always 100%.
    Reduce the remuneration share by:
The share of the partnership in the overall business
The share of the initiating participant of an indirect participant

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The SAP error message CACSELT092 indicates that the system is unable to determine the remuneration share for a specific employee or payroll scenario. This error typically arises in the context of payroll processing, particularly when dealing with remuneration shares for employees who may have multiple assignments or complex pay structures.

    Causes:

    1. Missing Configuration: The remuneration share may not be properly configured in the system. This can happen if the necessary settings for remuneration share determination are not maintained in the relevant infotypes or configuration tables.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings for remuneration share determination in the SAP system. Ensure that all necessary settings are correctly maintained in the relevant customizing transactions (e.g., SPRO).

    2. Review Master Data: Verify the employee's master data for completeness and accuracy. Check infotypes related to payroll, such as infotype 0001 (Organizational Assignment), infotype 0008 (Basic Pay), and any other relevant infotypes.

    3. Analyze Payroll Area: Ensure that the payroll area is correctly set up and that it aligns with the employee's assignment and remuneration structure.
