    If you use the name of an existing application as the name for the
    target package, any Customizing that has been created for this
    application may be lost.
    The reason for this is that all entries in the Customizing package are
    created again. This prevents master data and transaction data accessing
    the data on account of the new technical validity.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
