Message text: The work centers have different standard value keys (& and &)
You want to replace a work center. The new work center has a different
standard value key as the old work center. A standard value key defines
standard values with a dimension, performace efficiency rate and
activity type.
If you want to keep the differing standard value keys, the system
deletes all standard values in the operations where you replace the
work center or resource. The program deletes standard values with a
dimension, performance efficiency rate and activity type. The values
from the new work center are not copied.
Replace the old work center with a work center with the same standard
value key,
<ZH>or</>
change the standard value key of the new work center. Note that the new
work center may already be used in other task lists.

CA282
- The work centers have different standard value keys (& and &) ?The SAP error message CA282 indicates that there is a mismatch in the standard value keys assigned to work centers in a production order or routing. This typically occurs when you are trying to execute a process that involves multiple work centers, but those work centers have different standard value keys, which are used to define the standard times for operations.
Cause:
- Different Standard Value Keys: The work centers involved in the operation have different standard value keys assigned to them. This can happen if the work centers were set up with different configurations or if there were changes made to the standard value keys after the work centers were created.
- Routing Issues: If the routing for a production order includes operations that reference different work centers with different standard value keys, this error can occur.
- Data Inconsistency: There may be inconsistencies in the master data for the work centers, such as incorrect or missing standard value key assignments.
Solution:
Check Work Center Configuration: Review the configuration of the work centers involved in the production order or routing. Ensure that they have the same standard value key if they are intended to be used interchangeably.
- Go to the work center master data (Transaction code CR01 or CR02) and check the "Standard Value Key" field.
Update Standard Value Keys: If the work centers should have the same standard value key, update the configuration of the work centers to ensure they match.
- If necessary, change the standard value key for one of the work centers to match the other.
Review Routing: Check the routing associated with the production order. Ensure that all operations that reference different work centers are consistent in terms of standard value keys.
- You can use Transaction code CA01 or CA02 to view and edit routings.
Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about the implications of changing standard value keys, consult your organization's documentation or SAP help resources to understand the impact on production planning and execution.
Testing: After making changes, test the production order or routing again to ensure that the error is resolved.
