The process instruction contains a text symbol that refers to
characteristic &V1&. However, the value of this characteristic cannot
be assigned automatically. This means that the system cannot assign a
value to the text symbol when creating a control recipe.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Delete the incorrect text symbol.
In the process instruction assistant, place the cursor at the position
in the text where you want to insert the text symbol and choose
<LS>Edit</> -> <LS>Insert</> - ><LS>Text symbol</>.
A list appears that contains all the characteristics to which you can
refer.
If a suitable characteristic is contained in the list, copy it.
If no suitable characteristic is listed, check the definition of your
characteristics in Customizing for <LS>Process Management</>. If
necessary, add a characteristic with a suitable value assignment
function.
