  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to change a budget structure (BS), even though budget data
already exists in the BS validity area.
The change may result in inconsistent budget data.

    System Response

The system will make the change to the BS, if you save the change.

    How to fix this error?

We recommend that you do not change the BS if budget data already
    exists.
However, if you must make changes, you can repair inconsistent budget
data in one of two ways:
You execute a reconstruction of the distributed values, adjust the
budget values manually and then start the reconstruction of assigned
    values.
You execute the reconstruction of budget values using program
<ZH>BPDIST05</> and then start the reconstruction of assigned values.
<ZH>Be aware:</> Program BPDIST05 does not guarantee the removal of all
inconsistent budget data in all cases. For further information, refer
    to <DS:RE.BPDIST05>Program documentation</>.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
