Message text: Incorrect interval for simulation &1 - &2 for contract &3 in BAdI &4
The BAdI method returned an incorrect interval for the simulation. This
can have one of the following reasons:
Billing documents already exist for the contract that is to be
simulated. The simulation period is not immediately after the last bi
lling period.
If the last billing run was a periodic billing run, the start date for
simulation must be earlier than or the same as the end date of the
billing period from the schedule record for the portion (ERCH-PTERMTDAT)
+ 1 day.
If the last billing run was executed without a schedule record for the
portion (for example, unplanned interim billing), the start date for
simulation must be earlier than or the same as the end of the billing
period + 1 day.
The start date for simulation is before the move-in date.
You have only specified the start date or the end date for simulation.
The system cancels simulation.
Check the BAdI implementation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

BIL032
- Incorrect interval for simulation &1 - &2 for contract &3 in BAdI &4 ?The SAP error message BIL032 indicates that there is an issue with the interval specified for a simulation in a billing contract. This error typically arises when the start and end dates of the interval are not valid or do not align correctly with the contract's billing periods.
Cause:
- Incorrect Date Range: The start date is after the end date, or the dates do not correspond to the billing periods defined in the contract.
- Contract Configuration: The contract may not be set up correctly, leading to invalid intervals for the simulation.
- BAdI Implementation: If there is a custom implementation of a Business Add-In (BAdI) that modifies the billing logic, it may be causing the interval to be calculated incorrectly.
Solution:
- Check Date Inputs: Verify the start and end dates provided for the simulation. Ensure that the start date is earlier than the end date and that both dates fall within the valid billing periods of the contract.
- Review Contract Settings: Examine the contract configuration to ensure that it is set up correctly. Check the billing frequency, validity periods, and any other relevant settings.
- Debug BAdI Implementation: If a custom BAdI is involved, review the implementation to ensure that it correctly handles date intervals. Debugging the BAdI can help identify any logic errors that may be causing the issue.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific BAdI and billing contracts for any known issues or additional guidance.
