Message number: 512
Message text: Verification before reading is switched on
Verification before reading is switched on. It runs before each read
access of the archived data. Even if only individual documents in an
archive file are accessed, the whole archive file is verified. This can
lead to long access times, even for individual document access of
archived data.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
This is why we recommend switching off verification before reading in
cross-archiving-object Customizing (technical settings). You can verify
archive files retroactively at any time by using the program
RSARCH_CHECK_FILES.
