- Client &1: No Q-to-P transport found in application &2 ?The SAP error message AX171 "Client &1: No Q-to-P transport found in application &2" typically occurs in the context of Quality Management (QM) or when dealing with Quality Notifications and their transport between different systems (like from Quality to Production). This error indicates that there is no transport request available to move the data from the Quality environment to the Production environment for the specified application.
Cause:
- Missing Transport Request: The most common cause is that there is no transport request created for the Quality-to-Production (Q-to-P) transport for the specified application.
- Transport Not Released: The transport request may exist but has not been released, which means it cannot be used for the transport process.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be configuration issues in the transport management system (TMS) that prevent the transport from being recognized.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to view or access the transport requests.
Solution:
Check Transport Requests:
- Go to transaction SE09 or SE10 to check for existing transport requests. Look for any requests that are relevant to the application in question.
- Ensure that there is a transport request that includes the necessary objects for the Q-to-P transport.
Release Transport Requests:
- If you find a transport request that is not released, you can release it by selecting the request and choosing the "Release" option.
- Ensure that all necessary objects are included in the transport request before releasing it.
Create a New Transport Request:
- If no transport request exists, you may need to create a new one. Make the necessary changes in the Quality system and then create a transport request to include those changes.
Check Transport Management Configuration:
- Verify the configuration of the Transport Management System (TMS) to ensure that it is set up correctly and that there are no issues with the transport routes.
Authorization Check:
- Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access and manage transport requests. This may involve checking roles and authorizations in transaction PFCG.
Consult Documentation:
- Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to transport management and Quality Management for any specific guidelines or troubleshooting steps.
