  • What causes this issue?

With Release 3.0C, access to database tables is optimized if possible
so that only the fields really required are offered when generating
query reports. This considerably improves performance, but is only
possible if the functional area contains information that permits such
an optimized access. This information is provided when the functional
    area is generated.
The present functional area was last generated for a release version
prior to 3.0C. Access to the database tables therefore cannot be
    optimized.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Have your system administrator generate the relevant functional area
again. If you then generate the query report again, it might be
processed much faster than in the past.
