  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message AQ_AD_HOC064 - The fields in the statistics contain different currencies ?

The SAP error message AQ_AD_HOC064 indicates that there is a mismatch in the currencies of the fields being used in a report or query. This typically occurs when you are trying to aggregate or compare financial data that is denominated in different currencies without proper conversion or handling.

    Cause:

    1. Different Currencies: The fields being analyzed or reported on have different currency types (e.g., one field is in USD while another is in EUR).
    2. Currency Conversion Not Applied: The system is unable to automatically convert the currencies for comparison or aggregation.
    3. Data Source Configuration: The data sources or tables being queried may not have consistent currency settings.

    Solution:

    2. Currency Conversion: If you need to compare or aggregate data in different currencies, apply currency conversion. This can be done by:
      • Using a currency conversion function in your query.
      • Ensuring that the relevant exchange rates are available in the system.
    3. Modify the Query: If you are using a custom query or report, modify it to either filter out the different currencies or convert them to a common currency before aggregation.
    4. Check Data Source: Ensure that the data sources being used are configured correctly and that they are pulling data in a consistent currency.

    Related Information:

    • Currency Configuration in SAP: Familiarize yourself with how currencies are configured in your SAP system, including the use of currency types and exchange rates.
