area.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Before deleting a field from the functional area, you must ensure that
the field is not used in any queries. Select <LS>Environment ->
Directories -> All queries</> to display a list of queries which use
this field. Either modify the queries so that the field is no longer
used or delete the queries altogether. Then, you can delete the field
from the functional area.
