  • What causes this issue?

From Release 3.0C, access to database tables when generating query
reports has been optimized so that only the really necessary fields are
retrieved. This improves performance considerably. The prerequisite for
this is that the functional area contains the information required to
facilitate this optimized access. This information is retrieved when
    you generate the functional area.
Since this particular functional area was last generated in a Release
prior to 3.0C, the access to the database tables cannot be optimized.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Get your system administrator to regenerate the functional area in
question. When you then regenerate the query report, it may be executed
    very much faster than previously.
