Message type: E = Error
Message class: APERB - Error Messages for Periodic Posting Run
Message number: 007
Message text: Create document number range &1 with external number assignment
Processing was terminated since the document number range &V1& for year
&V2& is set up for internal number assignment.
You have to enter a document number range with external number
assignment for periodic posting of asset values, since the document
numbers are not assigned by Financial Accounting, but by the posting
program of Asset Accounting. External number assignment should
therefore not be equated with manual number assignment. In this case,
it means instead that number assignment is external from the point of
view of Financial Accounting.
Change number range &V1& from internal to external number assignment in
Customizing for Asset Accounting. Or check the document type entered.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
