What causes this issue?

You want to assign a program position to an organizational unit of the
enterprise organization. The selected relationship period, however, is
not completely within the validity periods of the objects involved.
Making the assignment is only possible if the objects assigned are
valid during the entire relationship period.
The validity period of a program position starts with the first day of
the approval year of the investment program (according to the fiscal
year variant entered in the program definition) and does not have an
end date, that is it continues into the future without limitation.

System Response

Assigning the program position to the organizational unit is not
allowed.

How to fix this error?

Change the relationship period so that it falls completely within the
validity periods of the organizational unit and the program position.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
