Message number: 504
Message text: Simulation is not permitted: Start date &1 later than key date &2
You want to carry out a simulation for Accrual Engine data.
The key date (end date) for simulation &V1& was either entered manually
by the user or determined/adjusted by the system.
The system adjusts the key date to the end of the accrual object's
period of validity.
As start date for the simulation, the system determined date &V2&.
The start date is set as
the day following the last actual posting, or, if no postings have been
made yet,
the start of the accrual object's period of validity.
The following accrual object is affected:
Internal presentation of the accrual object (GUID): &V3&
Internal presentation of the accrual subobject: &V4&
The start date for the simulation is later than the end date.
It is therefore not possible to carry out a simulation for this accrual
object.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Check Dates: Review the start date you are trying to use for the simulation and compare it with the key date. Ensure that the start date is on or before the key date.
- Adjust Key Date: If appropriate, consider adjusting the key date in the system to allow for the simulation to occur. This may require authorization and should be done in accordance with business rules.
- Correct User Input: If the start date was entered incorrectly, correct it to a valid date that meets the criteria.
