What causes this issue?

For posting to the general ledger, the option <LS>Area Posts APC and
Depreciation Periodically</> (<AB>BUHBKT</> = 2) is <ZH>no</> longer
supported as of SAP Accounting powered by SAP HANA 2.0.
The option <LS>Area Posts APC Immediately, Depreciation Periodically</>
(<AB>BUHBKT</> = 4) is available instead.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Adjust settings in the chart of depreciation &V1& for depreciation area
&V2& (in Customizing for <LS>Asset Accounting</> under
<DS:SIMG.T093_00N_NEW_DC>Define Depreciation Areas</>).
