This XPRA replaces the usage type <LS>J</>, which is maintained in table
T681V, by a new usage type <LS>4</> that is reserved for ETM/CEM.
Since the add-on AFS uses usage type <LS>J</> for their condition type
and in the system, there could be data which is required for the AFS

The SAP error message 9J766 indicates that a specific XPRA (a type of program used in SAP to perform data migration or adjustments during upgrades) cannot be executed because the AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) add-on is installed in the system. This typically occurs when the XPRA is not compatible with the AFS add-on or when the system configuration does not allow the execution of that particular XPRA due to the presence of the AFS add-on.

    Cause:

    1. Compatibility Issues: The XPRA you are trying to execute may not be designed to work with the AFS add-on. This can happen if the XPRA is intended for a different version of SAP or a different set of functionalities that do not align with AFS.

    Solution:

    1. Check Documentation: Review the SAP notes and documentation related to the XPRA you are trying to execute. Look for any specific notes regarding compatibility with AFS.
    2. Use Alternative XPRA: If there is an alternative XPRA that is compatible with AFS, consider using that instead.
    3. Contact SAP Support: If you cannot find a solution in the documentation, it may be necessary to contact SAP support for assistance. They can provide guidance on how to proceed with the upgrade or migration process while AFS is installed.
    4. Review Upgrade Path: Ensure that you are following the correct upgrade path for your SAP system, especially when AFS is involved. Sometimes, specific upgrade paths are required for systems with add-ons.
    5. Testing in a Sandbox: If possible, test the XPRA execution in a sandbox environment to see if the issue persists. This can help isolate the problem without affecting the production system.

    Related Information:

    • SAP Notes: Search for relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide guidance on handling XPRA execution with AFS.
    • AFS Documentation: Review the AFS documentation for any known issues or considerations when executing XPRA programs.
