The payment period for a sick pay supplement ends during the period in
which the current pay scale group and pay scale level apply. In
accordance with sec. 17 para. 3 of the collective agreement for the
public sector, only periods of incapacity to work of up to 39 weeks are
equated with continuous employment.
The pay scale level period is not extended automatically.
Check whether the absence is a suspension for which the pay scale level
period is extended.
You can extend the pay scale level period manually using the
<DS:DE.STVOR>Next Increase</> field in the <ZK>Basic Pay</> infotype
(0008).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
