- A maximum of 7 fields can be taken into account in individual evaluations ?The SAP error message 5Z114, which states "A maximum of 7 fields can be taken into account in individual evaluations," typically occurs in the context of evaluations or reports where a limit is imposed on the number of fields that can be used for individual evaluations. This is often seen in the context of reporting tools or data extraction processes within SAP.
Cause:
The error is triggered when a user attempts to include more than the allowed number of fields (in this case, more than 7) in a specific evaluation or report. This limitation is often set to ensure performance and manageability of the data being processed.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Reduce the Number of Fields: Review the fields you are trying to include in your evaluation. Remove any unnecessary fields to ensure that the total does not exceed the maximum limit of 7.
Combine Fields: If possible, consider combining some fields into a single field or using calculated fields that can represent multiple data points without exceeding the limit.
Use Multiple Evaluations: If you need to evaluate more than 7 fields, consider breaking the evaluation into multiple parts, each containing 7 or fewer fields.
Check Configuration: If you believe that the limit should be higher based on your business requirements, consult with your SAP administrator or technical team. They may be able to adjust the configuration or provide a workaround.
Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help resources related to the specific module or tool you are using to see if there are any additional guidelines or best practices for handling evaluations.
