  • What causes this issue?

    You have created indirect user assignments to a role using, for
    example, positions, jobs, or organizational units.
    However, only the assignments to users are relevant to the assignment
    of authorizations.
    The complex time dependencies within Organizational Management mean
    that these indirect assignments must be reconciled with the role. In
    other words, the indirect assignments that are currently valid are
    stored for the role.
    To ensure that indirect assignments are always up-to-date, you should
    perform this reconciliation every day, preferably using a batch report
    (see transaction PFUD).

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to perform an immediate reconciliation, access the
    maintenance screen for Organizational Management assignments and choose
    "Reconcile".
