  • What causes this issue?

In the field <ZK>P38A Declaration</> you have entered 'are due'.
However, the SAP End-of-Year report (RPCEOYG0) does not produce 'P38A'
XML forms. Therefore, you must enter 'are not due' in this field.

    How to fix this error?

There are two specific customising options available for you to handle
P38A EOY reporting, depending on how you have decided to submit your
    EOY returns:
1.,,EOY returns not using e-Filing Outgoing Functionality
Within the EOY report RPCEOYG0, the decision as to whether a P14 or P38A
form is to be produced for any particular employee is made via reference
to constant P60IL, contained in table Payroll Parameters (T511K).
If the value of constant P60IL is less than 2, a warning message is
issued that there are no reportable results existing for P14 output. The
statistic P14s not needed to be produced, displayed on the results
screen for a successful run of report RPCEOYG0, is increased by one.
More importantly, the P38A record is placed into a P14 record. If the
value of constant P60IL is greater than, or equal to 2, the P14 is still
    produced for the employee concerned.
It is important to note the interaction between the settings of constant
    P60IL and P14/P38A/P60 creation:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

VALUE OF RESULT FOR P14 RESULT FOR P60
    P60IL
    0 No P14, P38A produced No P60
    1 No P14, P38A produced P60
    > or = 2 P14 produced P60
2.,,EOY returns using e-Filing Outgoing Functionality
If you have decided to submit your EOY returns electronically and
implemented the e-Filing for Great Britain Outgoing solution, the
electronic submission of the P38A form is not supported. The Inland
Revenue will accept P38A form data for an employee if submitted
electronically in a P14 form format.
Therefore, if you are running e-Filing Outgoing, you must customise
    constant P60IL as follows:
VALUE OF RESULT FOR P14 RESULT FOR P60
    P60IL
    > or = 2 P14 produced P60 produced
