Pay (adoption):
An employee must provide a self-certificate (SC4) for entitlement to
Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption). Set the <ZK>Self-Certificate
provided</> indicator when an employee submits a SC4 self-certificate.
If the <ZK>Self-Certificate provided</> indicator is set, the field
<ZK>Notificatn. of match </>becomes an obligatory field. The matching
date is the day that the employee is notified by the adoption agency
that they have been matched with a child.
The matching date must be on or before the date that the employee
notifies the employer of their intention to take Statutory Adoption
Leave (SAL). The date the employee notifies the employer of intention
to take SAL is entered in the field <ZK>Notfcatn. to employer</> .
Under the rules governing entitlement to Statutory Paternity Pay
(adoption), the employee must give notice to the employer that they
intend to take SAL <ZH>within </>seven days of the matching date.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
