  • What causes this issue?

    You attempted to change the status of an information object with the
    status "Released". This is not possible.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    To change the status of a released information object, you must first
    cancel the release of the object. You can do this in two ways:
    Choose <LS>Info Object</> -> <LS>Attributes</> -> <LS>Cancel Release</>.
    Edit the content of the object. This sets the status automatically to
    "Editing".
