  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have set a status which is defined in the IMG for document
management, step "Define document statuses" such that the <LS>Complete
for engineering change management</> indicator is set. Engineering
change management then regards the change to the document as
    "complete".

    System Response

In engineering change management, the sytem tries to set the status
    "Change complete" for the document.

    How to fix this error?

When you make changes with reference to an ECR, all change activities
are controlled by different statuses in a predefined sequence. The
system status of the document in the selected change master record does
not support "Change complete" as a subsequent status.
In the change master record, check the system status of the change
master header and the object status. You can only set a status with the
<LS>Completion message for engineering change management</> indicator
for the document if the current system status in the change master
record supports "Change complete" as the next status for the document.
