Message text: The combination of the differentiation types &1 and &2 is not permitted
For a condition you have entered the differentiation types &v1& and
&v2&. This combination is not permitted. You can differentiate a
condition either according to transaction type or according to a
transaction type category.
Before using a condition, all the differentiations used must be
fulfilled. If you differentiate according to transaction type and a
transaction type category, this condition is only used if the specified
transaction type is contained in the category. In this case it is
sufficient if you differentiate the condition with the transaction type
category.
If you specify two transaction type categories as differentiation
types, the condition is only used for transaction types contained in
both categories. The different transaction type categories were created
to enable you to group transaction types according to different
criteria.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Master Data Issues: The material master data may have inconsistencies or incorrect settings that lead to this error.
Solution:
- Check Differentiation Types: Review the differentiation types being used for the product in question. Ensure that they are compatible and allowed to be used together. You can do this by checking the configuration settings in the SAP system.
- Review Configuration Settings: Go to the configuration settings for product differentiation in the SAP system (usually found in the IMG under Logistics or Sales and Distribution) and verify that the differentiation types are set up correctly.
- Adjust Material Master Data: If the material master data is incorrect, you may need to adjust the characteristics or attributes assigned to the material. This can be done through transaction codes like MM02 (Change Material) or CL02 (Change Class).
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidelines on differentiation types and their combinations.
- Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists and you cannot find a resolution, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance.
