Message text: Last user to change object is sole processor; system will close dialog
The processor who last changed the object is specified as the only
processor who changed the object in the <ZK>Processor/Status</> dialog.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
This dialog is unnecessary, since the processor who last changed the
object is also stored in the normal tree. For this reason, the system
will close the dialog. To add new processors, use the
<ZK>Processor/Status </>function.

- Last user to change object is sole processor; system will close dialog ?The SAP error message 0M357 indicates that the last user who changed an object is the sole processor, and as a result, the system will close the dialog. This typically occurs in scenarios where a user is trying to make changes to an object (like a transport request, a program, or a configuration) that is currently being processed by that user alone.
Cause:
- Sole Processor: The user who last modified the object is the only one currently processing it. This can happen if the user is in a transaction that is locked or if the object is being edited in a way that prevents other users from accessing it.
- Lock Mechanism: SAP uses a locking mechanism to prevent multiple users from making changes to the same object simultaneously, which can lead to data inconsistencies.
- Session Management: If a user has multiple sessions open and is trying to access the same object in different sessions, it can lead to this error.
Solution:
- Check Active Sessions: Ensure that the user does not have multiple sessions open for the same object. Close any unnecessary sessions.
- Wait for Release: If the object is locked by the user, wait until the user completes their transaction and releases the lock.
- Use Transaction SM12: You can check for locks in the system using transaction SM12. Look for any locks held by the user and, if necessary, release them (with caution, as this can lead to data inconsistencies).
- Contact the User: If you are not the user who has the lock, contact them to see if they can complete their work or release the lock.
- System Administrator: If the issue persists, it may be necessary to involve a system administrator to investigate further or to release locks if they are stuck.
