  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have entered an <GL:order_unit>order unit</> in a
<GL:stock_transport_order>stock transport order</>, but the unit you
entered differs from the <GL:base_unit_of_measure>base unit</> listed
    in the material master record.

    System Response

The system has adopted the base unit of measure (or the
<GL:unit_of_issue>unit of issue</>) shown in the material master record
    as the order unit.
The unit of issue is always adopted if it has been defined in the
material master record. If the unit of issue has not been defined, the
base unit is adopted as the order unit for the item.

    How to fix this error?

If you want to order using a different unit of measure, check whether
you can change the unit of issue in the storage data of the material
    master record.
You also have the option of working with variable units. If you set the
indicator "Variable unit of measure" to "1" in the material master
record, you can use all the units of measure that have been maintained
    in the material master record.
