    syntactic or semantic errors.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Use transaction SU21 to identify the Workbench objects affected and to
    make the necessary corrections in the course of the planned change to
    the field. Ensure that you use one request for the necessary Workbench
    corrections and the field property change.
