system.
If the new chart of account exists already, the value specified for this
chart of account will be used. If not, the value from the source chart
of accounts for which the priority indicator was set is used. If no
priority is set, and if there are different values for the different
source charts of accounts, the highest existing value is used.

You can overwrite the significant length in Customizing for the new
chart of accounts.
