  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code WPC1 is used to prepare product catalog IDocs. It is a part of the SAP Retail module and is used to create and maintain product catalogs in the system. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The WPC1 transaction code allows users to create and maintain product catalogs in the system. It also enables users to create and maintain product categories, product attributes, and product prices. Additionally, it allows users to assign products to categories and assign attributes to products. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code WPC1 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the required information for the product catalog, such as name, description, and type. 
  4. Select the “Save” option from the menu bar to save the product catalog. 
  5. Select the “Maintain” option from the menu bar to maintain the product catalog. 
  6. Enter the required information for each product category, such as name, description, and type. 
  7. Select the “Save” option from the menu bar to save each product category. 
  8. Select the “Assign” option from the menu bar to assign products to categories and assign attributes to products. 
  9. Select the “Generate” option from the menu bar to generate IDocs for each product category in the system.
