  1. Enter the transaction code SP00 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Spool Requests” option from the menu. 
  3. Select the “Output Devices” option from the menu. 
  4. Select the “Set Up Output Devices” option from the menu. 
  5. Enter the name of the output device you want to set up in the “Device Name” field. 
  6. Enter a description for the output device in the “Description” field. 
  7. Select a device type from the drop-down list in the “Device Type” field. 
  8. Enter a printer name in the “Printer Name” field if applicable. 
  9. Click on “Save” to save your changes. 
  10. Assign the output device to a spool request by selecting it from the list of available output devices in the “Output Device” field of the spool request form.
