  The ON36 transaction code allows users to maintain and view the diagnostic coding categories in the system. This includes creating, changing, and deleting categories as well as viewing existing categories. It also allows users to assign codes to categories and view existing codes assigned to categories. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code ON36 into the command field. 
  2. Select “Create” or “Change” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a category name and description in the appropriate fields. 
  4. Select “Save” to save your changes or “Cancel” to discard them. 
  5. To assign codes to a category, select “Assign Codes” from the menu bar and enter the codes you wish to assign in the appropriate fields. 
  6. To view existing categories, select “Display” from the menu bar and enter a category name or description in the appropriate field. 
  7. To view existing codes assigned to a category, select “Display Codes” from the menu bar and enter a category name or description in the appropriate field.
