  The OIPT transaction code allows users to create, change, and delete functional location categories. It also allows users to assign characteristics to a functional location and assign it to a category. The categories are used to group similar functional locations together for easier management. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code OIPT in the command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the name of the category you want to create and select “Save”. 
  4. Select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the name of the category you want to change. 
  5. Make any necessary changes and select “Save”. 
  6. Select “Delete” from the menu bar and enter the name of the category you want to delete. 
  7. Confirm that you want to delete the category and select “Yes”. 
  8. Select “Assign Characteristics” from the menu bar and enter the name of the category you want to assign characteristics to. 
  9. Enter the characteristics you want to assign and select “Save”. 
  10. Exit out of the transaction code by
