    1. Enter the transaction code KL20 in the command field. 
    2. Select the “Create” button to create a new template allocation structure. 
    3. Enter the name of the template allocation structure in the “Template Name” field. 
    4. Select the “Cost Center” or “Activity Type” radio button, depending on which type of template allocation structure you want to create. 
    5. Enter the name of the cost center or activity type in the “Name” field. 
    6. Enter the description of the cost center or activity type in the “Description” field. 
    7. Select the “Save” button to save your changes. 
    8. Select the “Assign Cost Elements” button to assign cost elements to your template allocation structure.
