  The JYV4 transaction code allows users to maintain number ranges for posting packs in the IS-M. This includes creating new number ranges, changing existing ones, and deleting obsolete ones. It also allows users to view the current status of the number ranges and to check if a particular number range is already in use. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the JYV4 transaction code into the SAP command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the desired number range and select “Save”. 
  4. To change an existing number range, select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the desired changes. 
  5. To delete an obsolete number range, select “Delete” from the menu bar and confirm your selection. 
  6. To view the current status of a number range, select “Display” from the menu bar and enter the desired number range. 
  7. To check if a particular number range is already in use, select “Check” from the menu bar and enter the desired number range. 
  8. When finished, select “Back” from the menu bar to return to the main screen.
