    The SRM_STATUS transaction code allows users to define the status of a document or object in the system. This includes setting up the status profile, assigning statuses to documents, and defining the transitions between statuses. The status profile can be used to control the workflow of documents and objects in the system. 
    
    Step-by-step How to Use: 
    1. Enter the transaction code SRM_STATUS into the command field. 
    2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
    3. Enter a name for the status profile and select “Save”. 
    4. Select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the name of the status profile you created. 
    5. Select “Status” from the menu bar and enter a name for each status you want to add to the profile. 
    6. Select “Transitions” from the menu bar and enter which statuses can transition into which other statuses. 
    7. Select “Save” when you are finished making changes to your status profile. 
    8. Select “Activate” from the menu bar to activate your status profile in the system.
