  Overview:
  PE50 is a SAP transaction code used to create and maintain personnel numbers in the Human Resources (HR) module. It is used to assign a unique number to each employee in the system, which is then used to identify them in all other HR processes. 
  
  Functionality: 
  PE50 allows users to create and maintain personnel numbers for employees. It also allows users to view and edit existing personnel numbers, as well as delete them if necessary. Additionally, it can be used to assign personnel numbers to multiple employees at once. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code PE50 into the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new personnel number. 
  3. Enter the required information for the employee, such as name, date of birth, etc. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the new personnel number. 
  5. To view or edit an existing personnel number, select the “Display” button and enter the personnel number you wish to view or edit. 
  6. To delete a personnel number, select the “Delete” button and enter the personnel number you wish to delete. 
  7. To assign multiple personnel numbers at once, select the “Mass Change” button and enter the required information for each employee. 
  8. Select “Save” when finished to save all changes made.
