  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code OMX9 is used to define a material update structure. This structure is used to control the updating of material master data in the SAP system. It allows users to define which fields of the material master data can be updated and which fields are not allowed to be changed.

  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code OMX9 in the command field. 
  2. Enter a name for the material update structure in the “Structure Name” field. 
  3. Select the “Fields” tab and select the fields that should be included in the material update structure. 
  4. Select the “Mandatory Fields” tab and select which fields should be mandatory when updating the material master data. 
  5. Select the “Optional Fields” tab and select which fields should be optional when updating the material master data. 
  6. Select “Save” to save the changes made to the material update structure. 
  7. Select “Activate”
