  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code J-01 is used to update maintenance for the Material Data Information System (MDIS). This transaction code is used to maintain and update the material master data in the MDIS. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The J-01 transaction code allows users to maintain and update the material master data in the MDIS. This includes creating new materials, changing existing materials, and deleting materials. The J-01 transaction code also allows users to view and print material master data. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the J-01 transaction code into the SAP command field. 
  2. Select the material you want to maintain or update from the list of available materials. 
  3. Enter the necessary changes or updates to the material master data. 
  4. Save your changes by clicking on the “Save” button. 
  5. Exit the transaction code by clicking on the “Exit” button.
