Overview: IW42 is used to perform the overall completion confirmation of maintenance orders in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). It marks the entire order as completed, allowing subsequent processes like settlement and archiving.

- Closing a maintenance order to trigger settlement of costs and completion of the order lifecycle
